What I Learned From My 30-Minute Presentation That Lasted 4 Hours!
I gave a presentation at a conference a couple of weeks ago.
I was allocated a 30-minute session and decided that I would deliver a pre-recorded presentation.
That allowed me to be "on stage" and "work the crowd" at the same time by answering questions in the chat during my presentation.
I made a 22-minute presentation, which left 8 minutes for official Q&A.
8 Minutes Wasn't Enough
The participants really loved my presentation!
After ten minutes of Q&A, we got kicked out of the official session and had to pick up at a virtual table inside the event platform.
That Q&A session lasted another 30+ minutes.
The Encore
After my original session, plus the overtime session, I thought I was done for the day.
Then I got a message from the event organizer asking if I'd do another session in the afternoon.
Of course, I agreed.
The next session lasted over three hours!
I was originally scheduled to be done by 10:30am and didn't leave the conference until after 5pm!
I expected my presentation to do well, but I had no idea it would do this well.
I figured if people got that much value out of my presentation, it was something I needed to make available to a wider audience.
The On-Demand Webinar
I added a little more than 10 minutes of material to my original presentation (using videos I already had) and turned it into an on-demand webinar.
It's already getting great feedback!
I really love how having an on-demand webinar allows me to deliver a full presentation to anyone who wants to see it, 24/7/365.
I already see how this is going to be an incredible marketing tool for me and I think it's something you may want to consider for your business.
Take a look at my webinar and let me know what you think!
And think about how you might benefit from having your own on-demand webinar, which is the kind of automated marketing and sales system you'll learn how to build in my Business In A Box.
