At the end of the interview, Magic gets choked up about the significance of the opportunity.

I completely understand everything that he DID NOT say because I feel exactly the same way.

So many generations of Black people who came before me could not even dream of the opportunities that I have.

So I have an obligation to take full advantage of every opportunity that each day presents and that's why I do what I do.

Being able to communicate with you every day is an opportunity that I do not take for granted.

I encourage you to not take for granted the opportunities that are afforded to you every single day.

Specifically, I'm talking about YouTube.

Every day that you wake up healthy, you have the opportunity to host your own cooking show on YouTube.

Think about how hard the people in your family before you had to work for way less opportunity than what you have.

YouTube doesn't care what your ethnicity is.

YouTube doesn't care about your gender.

YouTube doesn't care who you know.

If you put in the work to show up every week with a new recipe, YouTube offers everyone an equal opportunity to succeed.
